IIT – Industry Scoop – February 12th 2010

It seems no tech industry is safe from Google, so maybe it was only a matter of time before they started dabbling with becoming an ISP on their own.  The big news this week is that they’ve announced just that – plans to deliver high speed fiber to the door to at least 50,000 customers nationwide.  The number could be more like 500,000, depending on the communities that participate in Google’s offer.
